Daniel Eckert grew up in Nebraska where his dream of owning horses began. As he got older, he moved around until he found his home in the Colorado Mountains. Here, he met his wife, Patty Eckert, and they had three children (Jesse, Kirstie, and Samantha). They started out with one horse and slowly built a successful outfitting and trail riding business. As Dan's passion grew, he decided to start a new journey and that is when our breeding program began. With the help of Tom Eliason, we had our first foal crop in 2007. Soon after, we bought our first stallions, Wily Frosty Wood and Blue Bully, an own son of Bully Bullion and grandson of Rocket Wrangler. Our program grew from there with concentration on the Driftwood bloodline.

Today, the program is ran by Dan and his daughter Samantha. The entire family team ropes and Samantha also barrel races. A passion for horses has always been in our blood and we are blessed to be able to raised high quality performance horses.
