Sunnee Chex quick, athletic, and a fast learner. He is pleasing to the eye with a bright sorrel color and a flaxen mane and tail. He has an excellent disposition and a huge hip. He also has depth in the heart girth that gives him the stamina of a great performance horse. 

He will be collected in 2020. 

Sunnee Chex’s sire, Peppy Sun Chex, was a great working cow horse before he was injured. His sire is Twistin High by High Chicaro. On the top he goes back to Bee Play and Moon Hancock. His dam is Classical Peppy, an own daughter of Cinderella Chex, who was the best producing mare of King Fritz.

Peppy Sun Chex’s grand sire on the bottom, Peppy San Badger or “Little Peppy”, was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame and was a member of the NCHA Hall of Fame. He won the NCHA Futurity in 1977 and the Derby in 1978, was reserve world champion in 1980, and won the 1981 NCHA Finals.  Trained by Buster Welch, his total earnings topped $172,710. He sired 2,325 AQHA registered foals that have earned more than 7,200 points in all divisions, and won more than $25 million.  At the National Reined Cow Horse Association World Championship Snaffle Bit Futurity in 2001, four of the top 10 open horses were by sons of Peppy San Badger.  At the NCHA Futurity, four of the top 20 finalists in the open and non pro were by Little Peppy sons.

Sunnee Chex’s dam, Dashn Daisy, was an own daughter of Better Judgement (AQHA Race SI-107/AAAT/ROM, 25-6-5-5, $27,880). His all-time progeny earnings is $463,694 and his offspring have earned 87 ROMs. The sire of Better Judgement, the great Dash for Cash, produced numerous barrel horses, racehorses, and cow horses. From 1,069 starters in 19 crops to race, Dash For Cash sired 751 winners, with 135 stakes winners, 880 earners of Registers of Merit, 112 earners of Superiors and 16 world champions, earning $37,386,838. In the cutting world, he sired 15 point-earners, one AQHA Champion and one reserve world champion.  His offspring have earned $128,858 in National Cutting Horse Association events. 

Dashn Daisy also goes back to the great Doc Bar, Royal Charge, and Three Bars on the bottom side of her pedigree. Dashn Daisy’s grand sire, Plaudies Doc, was by Docs Zimfandel who had a ROM Halter and ROM Performance. He was an AQHA Champion, AQHA World Champion Jr Cutting, and PCCHA Futurity Champion.
